Pet Care Concierge
Pay: $9.50 – $15.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Morning shift, Mid shift, Evening shift

Description
Paw Community is looking for a Pet Care Concierge to join our Paw Crew team. We are located at 591 N Valley Mills Dr. Waco, Texas 76710. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged. We're looking for someone with an upbeat, engaging personality to deliver an amazing customer experience to our guests. As a Pet Care Concierge, your main responsibility is to make sure that our guests are safe and have a world class experience at Paw Community.
Qualifications

Must be comfortable with dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and varying temperaments

Well Organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task

Reliable Transportation

Strong communications skills

Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle dogs of all sizes on leash and off leash

Be computer and technology literate

Value great customer service that goes above and beyond the costumers need

Be able to work in a team environment, and have exceptional customer service skills!

Be detail-oriented and a fast-learner

MUST LOVE DOGS!

At least 18 years or older

Successfully complete a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities
-
Be able to constantly walk and/or stand for the entire shift
-
Utilize our software to book and check-in guests and manage booking calendar for boarding, daycare, and grooming
-
75% pet care, 20% customer service, 5% marketing
-
Handle incoming phone calls, check dogs in and out, and take payments from clients in all forms
-
Greet current and potential clients
-
Answer phones in a friendly and professional manner

Answer questions about all of our services

Escort dogs to grooming, play areas, potty breaks and kennels
-
Communicate with staff regarding the pets in our care, including any information that needs to be relayed to our pet parents

Assists with animal care and play yard monitoring
-
Monitor and interact with dogs in daycare in our open-play indoor play area(s)

Clean play yard(s), crates and all common spaces: mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing

Maintain and sanitize dog wash stations
-
Assist guests with the equipment and their pets
-
Be active and attentive to dogs and pet parents at all times
-
Evaluate dog behavior, reactions, and interactions with other dogs (training will be provided)

Observe and learn animal behavior and signs of aggression
-
Maintain continuous focus and attention on dog interactions to prevent fights and injuries
-
Perform animal health checks throughout the day

Attend additional training as necessary

Clean and sanitize the facility, all equipment, wash stations, floors, toys, dishes, etc. The safety of our staff, dogs, pet parents, and facility are a priority. Cleaning is a big part of what we do.

Use common sense to solve problems as it relates to dogs in our care.

Must be able to lift up to 50 LBs, and physically able to work with active dogs. Dogs will jump on you, wrap the leash around your legs, etc. you must not have any physical limitations or issues that could be aggravated by this type of work.

Perform dog baths, nail trims, and other basic dog grooming tasks

Feeding, administering medicine

Inform guests of policies, procedures, and services
